This is an English translation of the original Finnish terms. If there are any inconsistencies, the Finnish version takes precedence.
OVERVIEW
Welcome to Elegance & Beautiful Oy. Throughout these Terms, the expressions “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to Elegance & Beautiful Oy. Elegance & Beautiful Oy operates this online store and website, including all related information, content, features, tools, products, and services made available to you in order to provide a curated shopping experience (the “Services”). Elegance & Beautiful Oy uses the Shopify platform, which enables us to offer the Services to you.
These Terms, together with the policies referenced herein (collectively, the “Terms of Service” or “Terms”), describe your rights and obligations when accessing or using the Services.
Please read these Terms carefully, as they contain important information about your legal rights, including warranty disclaimers and limitations of liability.
By accessing, interacting with, or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms or to the Privacy Policy, you must not use or attempt to use our Services.
1. ACCESS AND ACCOUNT
By accepting these Terms, you represent that you are at least the age of majority under the laws of your place of residence and that you have given us your consent to allow any minor dependents under your care to use the Services on a device you own, have purchased, or manage.
To use the Services — including browsing our online stores or purchasing any product or service we offer — you may be asked to provide certain information, such as your email address and your billing, payment, and shipping details. You represent and warrant that all information you provide in our stores is accurate, current, and complete, and that you have all necessary rights to provide such information.
You are solely responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You may not transfer, sell, assign, or license your account to any other person.
2. OUR PRODUCTS
We have made every effort to present accurate depictions of our products and services in our online stores. However, please note that the color or appearance of a product may differ from how it appears on your screen due to the device you use to access the store, as well as your device’s settings and configurations.
We do not guarantee that the appearance or quality of any products or services you purchase will meet your expectations or be identical to how they are described or presented in our online stores.
All product descriptions are subject to change at any time without notice, at our sole discretion. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time on a case‑by‑case basis, and we may limit the quantity of any product offered to any person, geographic region, or jurisdiction.
3. ORDERS
When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase. Elegance & Beautiful Oy reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to accept or reject your order for any reason. Your order is not accepted until Elegance & Beautiful Oy confirms its acceptance. We must receive and process your payment before your order is accepted. Please review your order carefully before submitting it, as Elegance & Beautiful Oy may not be able to accommodate cancellation requests after an order has been accepted. If we do not accept, modify, or cancel an order, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you using the email address, billing address, and/or phone number provided at the time of purchase.
You may return or exchange your purchase only in accordance with our Return Policy.
3.1 ORDER CANCELLATION
Customers may cancel their orders before they have been processed or shipped. Cancellations must be made using the online store’s cancellation form, which provides us with all the necessary information to process the order. You may also notify us of a cancellation via email. The cancellation takes effect once we have received the cancellation notice and confirmed it via email. The cancellation form can be found in the quick links in the website footer and in the customer account menu.
If the order has already been processed or shipped, it can no longer be canceled. In this case, the order can be returned in accordance with our return policy once it has been received by the customer.
The customer may cancel either the entire order or only certain products. In the case of partial cancellations, we will process a refund only for the canceled products.
In your cancellation notice, please specify the scope of the cancellation, the order number, your name, your email address, and any additional information so that we can process your request as smoothly as possible. Submitting a cancellation request does not automatically guarantee that the cancellation will be successful if the order has already entered the processing stage.
4. PRICING AND BILLING
Prices, discounts, and promotions are subject to change without notice. The price of a product or service at the time you place your order is the price in effect at that moment and will be stated in your order confirmation email.
Product prices include applicable taxes. Products in the Wedding Collection and New Silver Jewelry categories are subject to value‑added tax based on the customer’s delivery country (for example, 25.5% in Finland). Products in the Vintage and Domestic Art Glass categories are sold under the margin taxation scheme. Shipping and handling fees are added separately at checkout.
Prices displayed in our online store may differ from prices offered in physical stores, other online stores, or third‑party marketplaces. From time to time, we may offer promotions within the Services that affect pricing and that are subject to terms separate from these Terms. If there is a conflict between the promotion terms and these Terms, the promotion terms will apply.
You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate purchase, payment, and account information for all purchases made in our stores. You agree to promptly update your account and other information, including your email address, credit card number, and expiration date, so that we can complete your transactions and contact you as needed.
You represent and warrant that (i) the credit card information you provide is truthful, accurate, and complete, (ii) you are duly authorized to use such credit cards for purchases, (iii) your credit card company will honor the charges incurred by you, and (iv) you will pay all charges incurred by you at the prices stated, including shipping and handling fees and any applicable taxes.
5. SHIPPING
We are not responsible for delays in delivery. All delivery times are estimates only and cannot be guaranteed. We are not liable for delays caused by the carrier, customs processing, or events beyond our control. Once we have handed the products over to the shipping carrier, title and risk of loss transfer to you.
At this time, placing orders and shipping are limited to EU countries.

Orders shipped outside the EU may be subject to customs duties, taxes, or import fees imposed by the destination country. The customer is solely responsible for any such charges.
6. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Our Services, including without limitation all trademarks, brands, text, displays, images, graphics, product reviews, videos, and audio, as well as their design, selection, and arrangement, are the property of Elegance & Beautiful Oy, its partners, or its licensors, and are protected by the patent, copyright, and other intellectual property laws of the United States and other countries.
These Terms permit you to use the Services solely for your personal, non‑commercial use. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, republish, download, store, or transmit any material from the Services without our prior written consent. Except as expressly stated herein, nothing in these Terms shall be construed as granting you any license or other rights under any patent, trademark, copyright, or other intellectual property right of Elegance & Beautiful Oy, Shopify, or any third party. Unauthorized use of the Services may violate federal and state intellectual property laws. Elegance & Beautiful Oy reserves all rights not expressly granted.
The names, logos, product and service names, designs, and slogans of Elegance & Beautiful Oy are trademarks of Elegance & Beautiful Oy or its partners or licensors. Such trademarks may not be used without the written permission of Elegance & Beautiful Oy. The name, logo, product and service names, designs, and slogans of Shopify are trademarks of Shopify. All other names, logos, product and service names, designs, and slogans appearing in the Services are the trademarks of their respective owners.
7. OPTIONAL TOOLS
You may be provided with access to third‑party tools as part of the Services, which we do not monitor, control, or influence in any way.
You understand and agree that we provide access to such tools on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without any warranties, representations, or conditions of any kind and without any endorsement. We shall have no liability whatsoever arising from or relating to your use of optional third‑party tools.
Your use of any optional tools offered through the Site is entirely at your own risk and discretion, and you must ensure that you are familiar with and approve the terms on which such tools are provided by the relevant third‑party providers.
8. THIRD‑PARTY LINKS
The Services may contain materials and hyperlinks to websites provided or maintained by third parties (including any embedded third‑party functionality). We are not responsible for examining or evaluating the content or accuracy of any third‑party materials or websites you choose to access. If you decide to leave the Services to use such materials or third‑party sites, you do so at your own risk.
We are not liable for any harm or damages related to your use of, purchases from, or interactions with any third‑party websites, or with any products, services, resources, or content available on such third‑party sites. Please review the third party’s policies carefully and ensure you understand them before engaging in any transaction. Any complaints, claims, concerns, or questions regarding third‑party products or services should be directed to the third party.
9. YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH SHOPIFY
Elegance & Beautiful Oy operates on the Shopify platform, which enables us to provide the Services to you. However, all sales and purchases you make in our Store are conducted directly through the Elegance & Beautiful Oy website. By using the Services, you acknowledge and agree that Shopify is not responsible for any part of the sale between you and Elegance & Beautiful Oy, including any injuries, damages, or losses arising from the products or services purchased. You hereby release Shopify and its affiliates from any claims, damages, and liabilities arising out of or related to your purchase and transaction with Elegance & Beautiful Oy.
10. PRIVACY POLICY
All personal data we collect through the Services is governed by our Privacy Policy, and certain personal data may also fall under Shopify’s Privacy Policy, which can be accessed here. By using the Services, you confirm that you have read these privacy policies.
Because Shopify hosts the Services, Shopify collects and processes personal data related to your use of the Services in order to provide and improve the Services for you. Any information you submit through the Services is transmitted to and shared with Shopify and third parties, which may be located outside your country of residence, so that they may provide services to you. For more information on how we, Shopify, and our partners use your personal data, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
11. FEEDBACK
If you submit, upload, post, email, or otherwise transmit ideas, feedback, reviews, suggestions, plans, or other content, you grant us a perpetual, worldwide, sublicensable, royalty‑free license to use, modify, reproduce, distribute, and display such Feedback in any medium for any purpose, including commercial use. For example, we may exercise these rights to operate, provide, evaluate, improve, and promote the Services, as well as to fulfill our obligations and exercise our rights under these Terms.
You also represent and warrant that: (i) you own or otherwise have all necessary rights to all Feedback; (ii) you have disclosed any compensation or incentives you have received in connection with the Feedback; and (iii) your Feedback complies with these Terms. We have no obligation to (1) keep your Feedback confidential; (2) provide compensation for your Feedback; or (3) respond to your Feedback.
We may monitor, edit, or remove Feedback that we, in our sole discretion, consider unlawful, offensive, threatening, defamatory, libelous, pornographic, obscene, or otherwise objectionable, or that infringes any party’s intellectual property rights or these Terms, but we are not obligated to do so.
You agree that your Feedback does not infringe any third‑party rights, including copyright, trademark, privacy, personality, or any other personal or proprietary right. You further agree that your Feedback does not contain defamatory, unlawful, abusive, or obscene material, nor does it contain any computer viruses or other malware that could in any way affect the operation of the Services or any related websites. You may not use a false email address, pretend to be someone else, or otherwise mislead us or third parties as to the origin of any Feedback. You are solely responsible for all Feedback you provide and for its accuracy. We do not assume any responsibility for Feedback posted by you or any third party.
12. ERRORS, INACCURACIES, AND OMISSIONS
From time to time, the Services may contain information that includes typographical errors, inaccuracies, or omissions relating to product descriptions, pricing, promotions, offers, product shipping charges, transit times, or availability. We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions, and to change or update information or cancel orders if any information is inaccurate at any time without prior notice (including after you have submitted your order).
13. PROHIBITED USES
You may use the Services only for lawful purposes. You may not use the Services, directly or indirectly: (a) for any unlawful or harmful purpose; (b) to violate any international, federal, provincial, state, or local regulations, rules, laws, or ordinances; (c) to infringe or violate our intellectual property rights or the intellectual property rights of others; (d) to harass, exploit, abuse, harm, defame, slander, disparage, intimidate, or otherwise injure our employees or any other individuals; (e) to submit false or misleading information; (f) to send, knowingly receive, upload, download, use, or reuse any material that does not comply with these Terms; (g) to transmit or procure the sending of advertising or promotional material, including spam, chain letters, or other solicitations; (h) to impersonate or attempt to impersonate another person or entity; or (i) to engage in any conduct that restricts or inhibits anyone’s use or enjoyment of the Services, or which, in our judgment, may harm Elegance & Beautiful Oy, Shopify, or users of the Services, or expose them to liability.
You further agree that you will not: (a) upload or transmit viruses or any other type of malicious code that may be used in any way that affects the functionality or operation of the Services; (b) reproduce, duplicate, copy, extract, sell, resell, or exploit any part of the Services; (c) collect or track the personal information of others; (d) send spam, engage in phishing, pharming, pretexting, or other deceptive practices within the Services; (e) use robots, crawlers, scrapers, data‑mining or extraction tools, automated devices or processes, AI tools (including agentic AI), or any automated or manual means to access the Services; or (f) interfere with, bypass, or circumvent security or authentication measures, robot‑exclusion headers, or other measures we use to restrict access to the Services. We reserve the right to suspend, disable, or terminate your account at any time without notice if we determine that you have violated any part of these Terms.
14. AGENTS
14.1
This section (“Agent Terms”) applies if you use, permit, enable, or cause an Agent to be used to access or interact with the Services. An “Agent” means any software or service that performs an autonomous or semi‑autonomous action on behalf of, or at the direction of, any person or entity, and that may act on a person’s behalf or using a person’s device without direct supervision.

No Agent may access or interact with the Services unless it identifies itself at all times and operates strictly in accordance with the requirements set out in Section 14.4 below. In addition, no Agent may access or interact with Shopify’s consumer services if we have requested that the Agent refrain from accessing, using, or interacting with such services.

We may restrict, including through technical measures, whether any Agent has access to, or the right to use or interact with, the Services.
14.4
Agents must:
(i) indicate in all HTTP/HTTPS requests that the request is made by an Agent and include the Agent’s name by adding the following to the user‑agent string: “Agent/[agent name]”;
(ii) not obscure or mask the fact that access, use, or interactions originate from an Agent, including by (a) mimicking human behavior or interaction patterns, or (b) completing or bypassing CAPTCHAs or taking actions intended to distinguish computer use from human use;
(iii) respond truthfully to any questions or prompts intended to determine whether interactions originate from a human or a computer; and
(iv) not circumvent or otherwise avoid any measures designed to prevent, restrict, modify, or monitor whether and how Agents access, use, or interact with Shopify’s consumer services.
15. TERMINATION
We may terminate this agreement or your access to the Services (or any part thereof) at any time, in our sole discretion, without notice, and you will remain liable for all amounts due up to and including the date of termination.
The following sections will survive any termination: Intellectual Property, Feedback, Termination, Disclaimer of Warranties, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, Severability, Waiver, Entire Agreement, Assignment, Governing Law, Privacy Policy, and any other provisions that by their nature should survive termination.
16. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
The information presented in or through the Services is made available solely for general informational purposes. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of this information. Any reliance you place on such information is strictly at your own risk. We disclaim all liability and responsibility arising from any reliance placed on such materials by you, any other user of the Services, or anyone who may be informed of its contents.
UNLESS ELEGANCE & BEAUTIFUL OY EXPRESSLY STATES OTHERWISE, THE SERVICES AND ALL PRODUCTS PROVIDED THROUGH THE SERVICES ARE OFFERED TO YOU “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT ANY REPRESENTATIONS, WARRANTIES, OR CONDITIONS OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OR CONDITIONS OF MERCHANTABILITY, MERCHANTABLE QUALITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, DURABILITY, TITLE, AND NON‑INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE OR WARRANT THAT YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE, OR ERROR‑FREE. SOME JURISDICTIONS LIMIT OR DO NOT ALLOW THE DISCLAIMER OF IMPLIED OR OTHER WARRANTIES, SO THE ABOVE DISCLAIMER MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
17. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ELEGANCE & BEAUTIFUL OY, OUR AFFILIATES, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, PARTNERS, AGENTS, CONTRACTORS, SERVICE PROVIDERS, OR LICENSORS, AND THE CORRESPONDING PARTIES OF SHOPIFY AND ITS AFFILIATES, SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INJURY, LOSS, CLAIM, OR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, PUNITIVE, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION LOST PROFITS, LOST REVENUE, LOST SAVINGS, LOSS OF DATA, REPLACEMENT COSTS, OR ANY SIMILAR DAMAGES, WHETHER BASED IN CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), STRICT LIABILITY, OR OTHERWISE, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES OR ANY PRODUCTS PROCURED THROUGH THE SERVICES, OR FOR ANY OTHER CLAIM RELATED IN ANY WAY TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES OR ANY PRODUCT, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY ERRORS OR OMISSIONS IN ANY CONTENT, OR ANY LOSS OR DAMAGE OF ANY KIND INCURRED AS A RESULT OF THE USE, PUBLICATION, TRANSMISSION, OR AVAILABILITY OF ANY CONTENT (OR PRODUCT) PROVIDED THROUGH THE SERVICES, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
18. INDEMNIFICATION
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Elegance & Beautiful Oy, Shopify, and our partners, affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, contractors, licensors, and service providers from and against any and all losses, damages, liabilities, or claims, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, paid to a third party arising out of (1) your breach of these Terms or any documents incorporated by reference, (2) your violation of any law or third‑party rights, or (3) your use of the Services.
We will notify you of any indemnifiable claim, provided that failure to notify you promptly will not relieve you of your obligations unless you are materially prejudiced. We may control the defense and settlement of any such claim at your expense, including selecting counsel, but we will not settle any claim that imposes non‑monetary obligations on you without your consent (which may not be unreasonably withheld). You agree to cooperate in the defense of indemnifiable claims, including by providing relevant documentation.
19. SEVERABILITY
If any provision of these Terms is determined to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision shall nonetheless be enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by Applicable Law, and the unenforceable portion shall be deemed severed from these Terms. Such a determination shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions.
20. WAIVER; ENTIRE AGREEMENT
The failure by us to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
These Terms, together with any policies or operating rules posted on this site or in connection with the Services, constitute the entire agreement and understanding between you and us and govern your use of the Services. They supersede all prior or contemporaneous agreements, communications, and proposals, whether oral or written, between you and us (including, without limitation, any prior versions of the Terms).
Any ambiguities in the interpretation of these Terms shall not be construed against the drafting party.
21. ASSIGNMENT
You may not delegate or assign this Agreement or any of your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent, and any such attempt shall be void. We may assign, authorize, or delegate these Terms and our rights and obligations without your consent or any notice to you.
22. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms and any separate agreements under which we provide you the Services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws and regulations of the federal and state or regional courts in the jurisdiction where Elegance & Beautiful Oy has its principal place of business. You and Elegance & Beautiful Oy consent to such venue and personal jurisdiction.
23. HEADINGS
The headings used in this Agreement are included for convenience only and shall not limit or otherwise affect these Terms.
24. CHANGES TO THE TERMS OF SERVICE
You may review the most current version of the Terms of Service at any time on this page.
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to update, change, or replace any part of these Terms by posting updates and changes on our website. It is your responsibility to check our website regularly for changes. We will notify you of any material changes to these Terms in accordance with Applicable Law, and such changes will take effect on the date specified in the notice. By continuing to use the Services after changes to these Terms have been posted, you accept those changes.
